We are a group studying the social and environmental effects of celluloses factories, especially those in the south of Brazil and Uruguay. During our research we will visit eucalyptus plantations, cellulose factories, local governments as well as social movement organisations that resist the transformation of the pampa. We will report on our research and our experiences in this blog. We will post messages in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English.
